Multiple Sclerosis

There are three main types of MS:

Relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS)
Primary progressive MS (PPMS)
Secondary progressive MS (SPMS)
Clinically Isolated Syndrome (CIS)

The majority of our trials are indicated for Relapsing MS therefore it is important to inform us of your diagnosis in your enquiry. The currently approved disease-modifying therapies aren’t a cure for MS, but they can reduce how many relapses someone has and how serious they are. They can also slow down the damage caused by relapsing multiple sclerosis that builds up over time. The studies we conduct at Re:Cognition Health are also disease-modifying therapies however aiming to improve the efficacy (the success in slowing progression and/or symptoms) of current medications used.
