Exploring Alzheimer's Research at Re:Cognition Health

Have you been referred to Re:Cognition Health by your GP Practice? If so, you may be interested in learning more about our ongoing research studies in Alzheimer’s Disease.

What are research studies?

Clinical research studies are carefully designed investigations that help us learn more about Alzheimer’s Disease. This could involve exploring new medications, different approaches to diagnosis, or a deeper understanding of how the disease progresses.

Why consider participation?

By participating in a research study, you could contribute to scientific progress that benefits not only yourself but also countless others in the future. Your involvement could help us:

Develop better diagnostic methods: Leading to earlier and more accurate identification of Alzheimer’s Disease.
Discover new and improved treatments: Paving the way for more effective ways to manage the disease and improve quality of life.

Your choice, your control.

We understand you may have questions and concerns, and we want to assure you that:

  • Participation is completely voluntary: You are under no obligation to join a study. The decision is entirely yours.
  • You can withdraw at any time: If you choose to participate and later decide it’s not for you, you can withdraw from a study at any point, without needing to give a reason, and without it affecting your ongoing care at Re:Cognition Health.
  • Current medications are not usually affected: Participating in a research study typically does not mean you would need to stop your current prescribed medications for Alzheimer’s Disease or any other condition. This would always be discussed in detail with you by the research team.
