Dr George Robinson
Director of Global Patient Engagement
Dr George Robinson BMBS BSc (Hons)
George began his career in North Wales as a Cancer Research Assistant, co-authoring papers in Biochemical Pharmacology on innovative chemotherapy delivery systems. By 2015, he realised his true calling lay in direct patient engagement around clinical trials and disease pathology, which led him to a full-service SMO supporting studies across the North West and Midlands.
Since joining Re:Cognition Health in 2018, George has built and now leads the Global Patient Engagement team. Under his direction, the team leverages multi-channel outreach, ranging from community partnerships and digital platforms to physician networks, alongside state-of-the-art AI algorithms that detect early cognitive changes in Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. This proactive approach not only accelerates patient identification, but also fast-tracks access to clinical trials or licensed disease-modifying therapies. A standout achievement: randomising 95 Alzheimer’s patients within a 5-week window, all while boosting diversity in enrolment.
George graduated as a medical doctor, enriching his leadership and recruitment strategies with deeper clinical insight. He credits his ongoing journey to the unwavering dedication and collaborative spirit of his colleagues, whose shared passion drives every patient-centric milestone that Re:Cognition Health meet.
