Rising Star – Dr Emer MacSweeney, Re:Congiton Health’s Founder, CEO and Consultant Neurologist has contributed an immense amount to the health care industry. Dr MacSweeney is committed to helping reduce the risk of a global healthcare crisis of Alzheimer’s, leading the team to be a top enroller, globally, in clinical trials for new-generation medications for Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative conditions. In May 2022 Dr MacSweeney gave a presentation at TEDx Athens on the main stage, educating about CTE as one of the most feared and dangerous risks in contact sports. also giving an overview of new diagnostics and treatments.  

Primary Care & Diagnostics – Re:Cognition Health is dedicated to providing an early and accurate diagnosis using the latest research and diagnostics, especially for Alzheimer’s and dementia due Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE)  resulting from repetitive brain injury in contact sports. Re:Cognition Health, together with experts at King’s College, have developed the most sophisticated imaging technique to accurately diagnose evidence of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). The technique combines Diffusion Tensor Imaging with MRI scanning to support the clinical assessment of potential brain damage and improve the probability of identifying rugby players with CTE.
