Re:Cognition Health is proud to have been named Diagnostics Provider of the Year at the prestigious 2025 HealthInvestor Awards. This accolade recognises the exceptional clinical impact, innovation in diagnostics and commitment to advancing brain and mind health by its exceptional team.
The judges commended Re:Cognition Health’s use of cutting-edge drug therapies for Alzheimer’s, as well as its multi-national drug trial network, which places the organisation in a central position to keep UKPLC at the forefront of the highly competitive global clinical trials industry.
This award also marks a significant milestone following a year of remarkable growth, expansion and international influence.
In 2024, Re:Cognition Health consolidated its three London premises into a single, state-of-the-art, 8,000 sq. ft clinical facility on New Cavendish Street in the Harley Street Medical District. This investment reflects the continued commitment to providing world-class care in an environment that matches its clinical excellence.
The organisation has also expanded significantly in the United States, opening new clinics in Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth in the first quarter of 2025. These join existing sites in Washington DC and Houston, and the incorporation of a Professional Corporation in Virginia, Illinois and Texas further solidifies Re:Cognition Health’s long-term presence in the US healthcare landscape.
Closer to home, plans are underway for a new and larger clinic in Winchester in response to rising patient demand. This expansion underlines the commitment to increasing access to specialist diagnostics and life-changing interventions across the UK.
In addition to providing expert clinical care, Re:Cognition Health plays a leading role in research and public education. The organisation contributed to over 500 media articles in 2024, and its team remains a trusted voice in raising public awareness about brain health, dementia prevention and advocating for an early and accurate diagnosis.
Founder and CEO, Dr Emer MacSweeney, continues to advocate for awareness and action. Her TEDx talk, CTE: The Silent Killer in Contact Sports, has been viewed over four million times and remains a powerful call for change. Dr MacSweeney also appeared in the groundbreaking BBC Panorama documentary Alzheimer’s: A Turning Point, showcasing the promise of new treatments like Leqembi and Kisunla, both of which Re:Cognition Health helped to trial and now offers to patients.
